Lunch for Lunch

Todays review will be on Lunch and their famous lobster roll.
The restaurant located on Montauk highway, Long Island, is famous for one thing, Lobster. Although rustic, this restaurant has been an establishment for lobster salads. This restaurant has a very beachy feel; this may sound cheesy, but the air seems fresher there.

Here are some pics of the environment and the food!

The lobster salad has a very tender lobster in it. Their is a generous amount of mayonaise in it although it complements the tender crustacean. That combined with the various vegetables in the salad give the lobster salad equilibrium texturally.   Even though I got the lobster salad on greens, it is better on a hot dog bun.

Sushi Seki Summer Start

Hey guys, I’m back. Last night I went to Sushi Seki. This upper east side restaurant features traditional and non traditional rolls. I have eaten there many times, and never found myself disappointed with the quality of fish. It’s great if you want to eat light or heavy. I didn’t have time to take a picture of the interior or exterior. So we just have food pics tonight.

In order from bottom of the left column to top of the left column to bottom of right column to top of right column spicy scallop roll (my personal favorite), spicy tuna roll (least favorite), shrimp tempura roll, tuna w/ jalapeno pepper sliver, tofu tofu (tofu, with tuna sashimi on top finished with a creamy tofu sauce), the last one I’m not quite sure, but I believe It’s pronounced now. It’s some type of seared fish ontop of a rice log. One of the best rolls I have ever eaten. I highly recommend making a reservation before going because it’s busy. One thing I made very high notice of was that I was constantly checked upon to see if I needed anything. This is something that you don’t always find in a restaurant.
To sum it up
Atmosphere: 8.5
Food: 9.5
Service: 9.5

kids food fest a bryant park

Hey, I can’t apologize enough for how long it’s been…
Changing subject this weekend I was doing healthy cooking demos at Bryant park with Chef and owner of Graffiti and Mehtaphor, highly acclaimed chef Mehta. It was great cooking by his side. Although I thought that would be the only thing I would do there. I explored a little bit and actually found some great things!Mehta had some great things in his booth. he served tomato avocado soup and shrimp salad both incredible.

Check him and his restaurant out at http://www.mehtaphornyc.com

The first thing I found was this new product (new for me) called naked nuggets they are the best chicken nuggets iv’e ever had. They are some what similar to the perdue except for the fact that they have no breading and are grilled instead of fried. This way they are healthy! If their are any nugget lovers out there I highly recommend them check them out here http://www.shedthebread.com I have been eatign them like crazy!

Then I moved on to the next booth being this babyfood company I really did not realize this until I tried them but babyfood is actually pretty good they are called yo drops they are freeze dried bits of yogurt they make a great snack . check them out a revolution foods

sorry guys the photos aren’t working today. ill be sure to upload them asap.
