Mori Moto Omakase

On tuesday I did something I have always wanted to do, eat at the Mori Moto
Omakase. So the one think I would say is nothing is “yummy” everything was interesting and it gave me a chance to eat things I would have never ate before.

here is the menu.

Course One / Tuna Shuto

-with Japanese Bread, Cured Tuna, Peas and dried Olives

Course Two / Crab

- with Quail Egg ( Onsen Tamago ), Sea Beans with Dashi Jelly, Prosciutto, Junsai

Course Three / Awabi

– with Yuzu, Wakame, Sake Mushi Broth

Course Four / Albacore Tuna Tataki

- with Scallion Oil, Scallions, Ponzu Sauce

Course Five / Sashimi

- with Torigai, Oh Toro, Saba

Course Six / Fugu Sashimi (fugu if prepared incorrectly can kill very quickly)

- with Momiji Oroshi and Scallions

Course Seven / Fugu Bone Karaage –

with Shichimi Togarashi

Couse Eight / Pike Mackerel Salad

- with Micro Grains and Red Pepper sauce

Course Nine / Seasonal Special Sushi

Course Ten / Lobster

– with Reduced Lobster Stock and Yuzu Butter

Course Eleven / Red Snapper

- with Summer Vegetable Tart, Pickled Cucumber and Peach

Course Twelve / Wagyu Beef

- Shabu Shabu Style with Sweet Soy Foam

Course Thirteen / Poached Peach with Champagne Sabayon

Course Fourteen / Crème de Chocolate and Strawberry Cheesecake
